Mr. Jacob Maurer visited on Wednesday and was a big hit! He introduced the children to 3 instruments: the banjo, the mandolin, and the violin. He explained and demonstrated how the bango is "plucked" with the "fingertips," the mandolin is "picked" with a "pick," and the violin is "bowed" with a "bow." Each child had their chance to experiment with each of the instruments, and they helped him remove the instruments from their cases, and return them to their cases; zipping and buckling with great care.
