Yesterday Gracie' s mother, Ms Allan, visited Miss Capwell and Miss Bryant's class to give the children a little taste of Syrian and Lebanese culture.
She introduced various musical instruments that each child had a chance to play, and while listening to traditional music, the children were able to recognize the instruments that Ms Allan shared!
After a brief dance lesson, the children sat and sampled hummus, pita bread, olives, special chocolates, and cookies! They all had a good sampling of middle eastern life!
